How to Play VibeDrop

Full rules for chaining tiles, the Vibe Blast, and falling-letter physics.

Drag across adjacent tiles to spell a word. 5+ letters trigger a Vibe Blast that clears neighbours.

VibeDrop is a word-chain tower. Drag across adjacent tiles (diagonals allowed) to form a word. Release to clear. Long words trigger a Vibe Blast that wipes every neighbouring tile too, and new letters drop from the top.

Quick answer

Key points

  • Press and drag across adjacent tiles — up, down, left, right, and diagonals — to chain letters.
  • Release to submit. Valid words of 3 or more letters clear the tower and score length squared * 10 (3 = 90, 4 = 160, 5 = 250, 6 = 360, 7 = 490).
  • Form a 5+ letter word to trigger a Vibe Blast — every tile adjacent to your chain is also wiped.
  • When tiles clear, the tower physics drops upper tiles down to fill the gap. Fresh letters drop in from the top.
  • Valid word source: core dictionary plus ENABLE (~170k words) augmented on load.
  • Score is length squared times ten, plus all bonus clears from the blast radius.

Examples

  • Quick chain
    A 4-letter word scores 16 * 10 = 160 points. Tiles drop, new letters arrive.
  • Vibe Blast combo
A 6-letter word scores 360 directly AND blasts every adjacent tile — often triggering a cascading combo.
  • Adjacency with diagonal
Diagonals count as adjacent. A chain can zig-zag across rows freely.

Frequently asked questions

What dictionary is used?

A core dictionary plus ENABLE (~170k words) augmented at load. Most real English words are valid.

What does the Vibe Blast actually clear?

Every tile adjacent (8-direction) to any tile in your chain is also wiped. That often means 15-25 extra tiles cleared in one submit.

Is a tile repeated in one chain? Trust & accuracy

No — you cannot reuse the same tile in a single word.

How do I use a puzzle helper without spoiling the game? How-to

Use a puzzle helper after your own first attempt, not before every move or answer. Read the rules, try a round cold, then use the guide to understand misses, patterns, and better strategy. That keeps the puzzle fun while turning mistakes into practice.

What should I learn first in a new puzzle game? Definition

Learn the rules, win condition, scoring, and one opening habit before chasing advanced tactics. Most players improve fastest by removing obvious mistakes: unclear turns, wasted guesses, ignored constraints, or overusing hints. Strategy only matters once the basic loop is automatic.
