Love Calculator
Three transparent signals combined into a reproducible compatibility percentage.
A novelty calculator for fun. Enter two names and the tool scores them from three visible signals: shared letters, vowel balance, and a LOVES-letter tally. Same names always give the same score, so try nicknames or full names to see how it changes.

Examples
Before you judge the score
Treat the score as feedback on one short practice round. It may reflect speed, attention, memory, or familiarity with the format, not overall ability.
The best next step is to review one missed pattern or one slow decision, then try a related practice or guide.
Limitations
- · Novelty only — no real relationship prediction
- · Letter-based — same names always produce the same number
- · No handling of non-Latin scripts or accented characters

Frequently asked questions
› Is the love calculator real? Trust & accuracy
No. It is a novelty tool. It combines letter overlap, vowel balance, and a LOVES tally into a repeatable percent. It does not know the humans attached to the names.
› How does the love calculator work? Definition
It averages three signals: how many unique letters the names share, how close their vowel ratios are, and how many LOVES letters appear in the combined name. The result is smoothed to cluster between 10 and 90 percent.
› Can I get 100% on the love calculator? Edge case
Not with this one — the formula caps the score around 90 to keep results honest and playful. Any calculator that always returns 100% is using the score for entertainment, not math.
› Does the love calculator predict marriage? Trust & accuracy
No. A letter-based compatibility score cannot predict relationships. Treat it as a conversation starter — and use [How Long Will We Last?](/games/how-long-will-we-last/) for a signal-based quiz instead.
